BEATLES legend George Harrison offered to buy the 15-year-old daughter of Cream drummer Ginger Baker for £2,000, she claims in a new book.

Nettie Baker, now 57, says Harrison made the extraordinary bid at a party hosted by guitar hero Eric Clapton in 1976.

In Tales Of A Rock Star’s Daughter, Nettie says Harrison — who died of lung cancer in 2001 aged 58 — also suggested she be the prize in a pool competition. Ginger, 79, turned the offer down.

Nettie recalls: “Later that evening he offered to pay my dad £2,000 for me and I nearly choked.

“People were laughing and I was thrilled to be the centre of attention — but that was because I was young.”
She does not know if the Beatle was joking.
